About Us
Hi we are Nicola
Ketley and Darren Gash and have the Enjakay affix for the Bull and Smooth
Fox Terriers that we own. We live in a town called Shildon in County Durham
and all of our dogs live with us in the house.
We bought our first
Bull Terrier Gabrielle (Javarke Ghost Rider) in 2001 from Joy and Lee
Pilkington Javarke Bull Terriers. Gabe is a fantastic guy and is our
guardian angel. We cannot thank Joy and Lee enough for such a handsome
and well natured dog!. He has been shown at both Champ and Open shows
and is just lightly shown in veteran classes now that he is 10½
years old.
We next acquired
Millie (Javarke Sweet Harmony) in late 2001 again from Joy and Lee
Pilkington. Millie was shown at Champ and Open Show level and was a reserve
in the Regent Trophy 2001. She was Gabe's partner in crime! however we sadly
lost her to illness in March 2009 Gabe and her were inseparable.
In August 2003 we
bought Maisie (Caliber Bolt On Goodie) from Bill and Carolynn Lambert
Caliber Bull Terriers. Maisie is the youngest Bull Terrier we own and
has been shown at both Champ Shows and Open Shows. We thank Bill and Carolynn Lambert immensely for allowing us to own
such a 'cutie' and for being there for us through the highs and the lows!!
Buying our
first Smooth Fox Terrier was not a decision we made easily as our main aim
has always been to show and breed healthy Bull Terriers and only Bull
Terriers, however Smooth Fox Terriers are a breed both myself and Darren
adore and therefore now own. We had over a year to prepare and deliberate
over our puppy as we were on a waiting list with Margaret Clifford at Migley
Smooth Fox Terriers for little over a year. Then arrived Kizzie (Migley
Eileen at Enjakay).Thanks Margaret for 'taking the risk'
Both Bull Terriers
and Smooth Fox Terriers live and sleep together here at Enjakay something I
never thought I would hear myself say but now that I have we intend to
continue owning and hopefully breeding Bull and Smooth Fox Terriers for a
long time to come!.
